Types of Foam Available

Open-Cell Spray Foam

Open-cell spray foam gives a bit more flexibility than closed-cell and tends to expand more. Open-cell spray foam insulation is more economical, and it also expands more, allowing more air circulation than closed-cell spray foam.

Closed-Cell Spray Foam

Closed-cell spray foam is the best choice when insulating where space might be an issue. Closed-cell spray foam doesn't expand as much as open-cell spray foam but seals well enough to act as a vapor barrier.
